One Year Anniversary
Last week we celebrated our One Year Anniversary. And on August 14 we’ll have been married for a year too!
Of course this anniversary has to do with being on staff at The Edge Church. July 4th weekend marks the start of our full-time journey with The Edge. Over the past year we’ve grown and been stretched and blessed tremendously. There is not a doubt to be found in our house that God has specifically called us to be at The Edge.
Geoff serves (and leads) as the Associate Pastor of Church Ministries, which - practically speaking - means he does a little bit of a lot. Brittany volunteers full-time in the Edge Students Sunday morning program, working with the junior and senior high students, as well as taking care of Geoff.
We love The Edge, we’re excited about The Edge, and we couldn’t have asked for either a better place to begin our marriage and ministry, or a better pastoral family. Ryan Heller (The Edge Church’s Lead Pastor) and his wife Gena have been a great blessing and example to follow. They make an excellent team of strong leadership, tender shepherding, and wonderful friends and family.
As we begin Year Two with The Edge (and soon Year Two of marriage) we are learning more about refining and cultivating our God-given gifts and strengths, as well as setting bigger personal and professional goals. We are learning a lot through God’s call on our life to be at The Edge, and if Year Two is anything like our first, it will feel like no time at all until we’re celebrating another successful and incredible year of ministry and life here in the CO!
